Inspired by a statement I seen circulating on social media, “jealousy is a demonic spirit". This essay examines pathological jealousy through an analysis of its psychological development and influence on human behavior. This presents an original theoretical framework for understanding the ways jealousy manifests and becomes embedded within the personality.
